C-Hope! Why did you decide to commit to this 21 day challenge?
Hope-I chose to commit to a 21 day challenge because honestly I wanted to sleep better. I work at Starbucks and have shifts that start at 430am . When I did sleep it wasn't for very long but it never felt restful and I was taking a nap EVERY SINGLE DAY and sometimes two a day lol But, yes I also chose the 21 day challenge to push myself and see how far I could go and to ACTUALLY finish something for once.
C- What program did you select and did it challenge you?
Hope-I chose the 21 day fix. It definitely challenged me. But surprisingly was not as difficult as I was cracking it up in my mind to be. Once you make something a priority it becomes apart of your routine. Especially when you begin to see how beneficial its being.
C-What were scale/non scale victories you've experienced?
Hope-My biggest victories over the past 21 days have been sweet. I never skipped a workout and that was HUGE. I made it work no matter how I had to make it happen. I also lost the amount of weight i was aiming for and lost way more inches than I was expecting too!
C-What was 1 way you grew spiritually during this journey?
Hope-My favorite part of the past 21 days has been this: the Lord has entrusted us with an earthly body. When we do things like eating what our bodies need and working it out; that's worship! The Lord delights in that, and once I figured that out, it took on a WHOLE NEW meaning. It when from me trying to convince myself that working out was good for me, to me WANTING to sweat it out to say "Thanks Jesus." Now that I have that figured out it just get me excited that I have yet another way to say thanks to my heavenly Father for all that He has done/is doing/ is going to do.
C-Do you find this lifestyle realistic to maintain?
Hope-This lifestyle is really quite realistic to maintain. Once you train yourself to know what works and what doesn't; with some preparation, it become quite simple. It's all in your mindset.
C-Would you recommend a challenge group like this to a friend/family member?
Hope-I would most definitely recommend a challenge group to a friend or family member! I want them to see the new things I've discovered over the past 21 days to help kickstart this lifestyle of worship!
