As I already shared in my FAITH tab, please join me on Facebook or Instagram (@carenscorner) for more daily content as it has been harder to blog consistently with a newborn!
A couple of sleepless nights in the last few weeks has resulted in some slower mornings which were NEEDED. Sometimes we have to make lemonade out of lemons right? I am honestly thankful. Thankful that this little man is constantly pushing me to slow down. My workout can wait, my to do list can wait, and the cleaning can wait. Starting the day with a cup of coffee and Jesus has been refreshing. As I have shared before, little man's naps are used strategically on my end so that I can ensure I use my time productively and wisely. Nap #1 is usually my devotional time. Nap #2 is my workout & shower time (sometimes the shower doesn't happen...just being real). Nap #3 is my power hour for my business and I usually have a few therapy clients ( I am an online therapist). By the time we get to Nap #4 we hit the "witching hours" which means around 5pm I am done with all my work so I can hold little man as he tends to have a harder time at night. I am hoping that passes soon!
My current workout program is CORE DE FORCE and man oh man I LOVE it! That picture isn't accurate since I am now actually on day 17! I can't believe how fast it's going. I've decided to do this for 60 days even if it's a 30 day program. I also love that devotional on the right that my friend sent me! Do you value your body? There IS a way to take care of yourself without allowing it to become an idol. I have been there. It is possible. With Jesus.
Weekends have been an amazing and unplugged time with family. Graham is on a tough rotation that is often from 5:30am-8pm so weekends we try to soak up as much time all together as we can! You guys know I love my treat meals! Usually that's a speciality drink or if we go out to breakfast I get home fries and 1 fun pancake ;)
On the right is my favorite oatmeal combination! I do 1/3 cup of oats, almond milk, PB2 powder, and half a scoop of the strawberry shakeology. It's filling, awesome for my milk supply, and yummy! Also, that little face though!!!
HEADS UP: Reservation is now open for my December Faith & Fitness group that kicks off 12/12! Spots are limited so let me know if you want more information. See the Beachbody tab for more!
Though I am a certified personal trainer through AFAA, I am not a nutritionist. Any food posts on this blog are simply related to my journey!
