If you checked out the "Faith" section then you know the madness we've been in the last week or so! Excited to have access to wifi to update you on all the fun. Oh and hey-officially 19 weeks pregnant :)
^^Clearly from last Friday! My workouts have still been 22 Minute Hard Corps but also adding more resistance training to keep my upper body and legs strong during this pregnancy (see what I mean about the belly here?? Where did it go!). For my strength training I have been doing P90X 3 or 21 Day Fix Extreme depending on the day and my energy level :)
So now when I think of it...maybe I am craving eggs still...it's a staple meal for me to get protein in! Do you have a favorite omelet recipe? I am always looking for new variations! Besides that I am just intentional about keeping my proteins, good carbs, good fats, veggies, and fruits in the proper serving and not going wild with the "eat for 2" concept which is a huge misconception. I've been mainly adding 300 calories to my usual intake and focusing on foods that are going to fuel me and the babe properly! I am confident that this and my superfood shake are contributing to my few unhealthy cravings and high energy.
Just a little shout out to this amazing man who has been an incredible support to me with this crazy move! Photo above is from our Mother's Day lunch with his family. I am just beyond blessed!
Questions for you:
1) What did you do for Mother's Day?
2) Do you have a favorite omelet recipe?
3) Do you have any recommendations for pregnancy workout pants?
