We all have a day 1.
Question before we start: How many of you get intimidated by large accountability groups? You will want to keep reading I promise. I have something special for you.
Today I was reflecting back on photos from when I was a few weeks postpartum to today at nearly 11 months postpartum. After having my sweet boy it felt like I was starting over in many ways but I am SO grateful I had a workout history under my belt. It's never too early to take care of your body if you're thinking about getting pregnant or are in the early months of pregnancy. I really believe my body bounced back faster because of my health journey prior to and during pregnancy.
It wasn't always easy. I know sometimes I make it "look" easy from what some of you share with me. But it isn't. Robin Sharma says "an extraordinary life is all about daily consistent improvements in the areas that matter most." For me that is my faith + relationship w/ Jesus, my health, my role as a wife + mom, and my business. Notice I had my health before my role as wife + mom because I need my health to do fulfill those roles well.
Consistency. Patience. Consistency. Action. Consistency. Accountability. Consistency. Purpose. Should I mention consistency one more time? I am serious though! That's what it takes. Those small smart choices over time COMPOUND. My results weren't HUGE in the beginning. Now I look back and I can see +feel a huge difference but in the moment, it wasn't always obvious.
We all have a day 1. I know I have made it this far because of the level of accountability I am surrounded by daily. Women who lift women up. It's truly something special💛! So I will ask again, are you ready to take things seriously? Are you ready to remain cosistent and just start? Are you willing to work with me and let me teach you what I know and journey with you?
