My superfood shake (that I have apparently now been eating the last 3 weeks!) was VITAL on vacation. It helped me stay regular (I know that's TMI but any else struggle to "go" on vacations?!--no struggles here!), and I can count on one meal every day being FULL of nutrients my body will need. Yes I totally added plain Cheerios and a tiny tiny piece of scone to it every day lol #balance.
I have MISSED the beach! Truth be told, I don't swim a lot. I do NOT handle cold water well but I love sitting by the beach, playing games, and spending time with my family! Luca LOVES the sand and crawling everywhere too. It was so fun experiencing the beach with him for the first time !
I am pretty sure we went out for Fro Yo 4 of the 6 nights! Here is the crazy thing, I totally enjoyed some treats with no guilt but when I came home I didn't feel off track!! We were SO active all day long and so I had no problem enjoying this treat eery night! Favorite toppings are usually just fruit but last week I enjoyed the crushed brownies, cookie dough bites, kit Kat bites, and Smores bites!
We celebrated #gingyptian many times last week. He was dedicated to the Lord and we celebrated his first birthday a bit early so we could all be together. So thankful for him and just praying that God will lead and guide him the rest of his life!
Remember, friend…God can transform and develop our lives in different settings. So my encouragement to you is, don’t ppt out of opportunities because you don’t feel initial passion for it. I know in my life there have been several things I was called to do that didn’t seem terribly exciting but were absolutely vital in getting me to where I needed to go.
TAKEAWAY: Don’t disqualify yourself or stunt your growth. Do what is in front of you well. Be obedient. And trust that God never wastes lives that are surrendered to Him!
Though I am a certified personal trainer through AFAA, I am not a nutritionist. Any food posts on this blog are simply related to my journey!
