Three big things I love about Sunday. 1) That I get to worship God in community with others. 2) That I can give my body the physical rest it needs and focus on stretch and flexibility. 3) Meal prep...I love cooking and baking!
There is great value in taking the time to stretch your muscles and focus on balance and flexibility. I have seen this improve my form while strength training, doing plyometrics, and it has greatly strengthened my core, which impacts my balance!
What tops stretching off? Stretching out in nature. Gahhh, I just love it! It was peaceful and quiet with a slight breeze. When I am done I feel relaxed, refreshed, and ready to continue with my day.
Now as I just shared, number 3 on my favorite things to do on Sunday is meal prep. I have talked about this several times on here before and will continue to! My challengers in my fitness challenge groups know how valuable it is to take some time on the weekend to bake some chicken, spaghetti squash, and/or veggies. I usually spend time making a bulk of the things that take the longest to cook during the week so I have it on hand.
What are your favorite things to do on Sunday?
