!Week 3 day 1 of my hybrid cardio & strength program DONE! Feeling stronger and have way more energy lately! During my workout, the trainer said "you don't get what you ask for, you get what you work for" and I chuckled.
It's TRUE with our fitness journey but not as true with our faith journey ;)Jesus said ask and you shall receive right? Of course, He DOES look at the intentions behind what we are asking.
But yes, with our fitness journey, you have to WORK for it. You can't just wish for a strong body or abs. I know for me as a busy mom who also runs her own business, it's been such a relief to not have to create my own workouts and drive to a gym anymore. There WAS a season for that, just not now. Now I love that the experts designed a calendar to ensure me results (if I show up), and that I can just push play in my living room !
I have been feeling so proud of my nutrition lately. I really think it's because of the ladies in my accountability group! I haven't really had a treat meal by CHOICE. Family was here last week and when they all got pizza, I was sitting over here with my turkey meatballs, veggies and avocado totally content! That's saying something because I love pizza lol!
Many think there is no way to ever desire and crave the healthy stuff but I am telling you there IS. You crave what you focus on and you crave what you eat consistently. So what are you eating consistently?
