GUYS! We may have a baby arriving this month. That's NUTS to me. Although I feel like I have been pregnant for years, time has also flown by. One of #gingyptian's due dates is 9/25 (or 10/2). What do you think? Team September or Team October? My birthday is October 1st so it would be fun to share a birthday ;)
In addition to a comical morning routine, I have officially experienced this "nesting mode" many speak of. But not with cleaning. I guess I am not all that anal about cleaning...never have been. The cleanest place in my house is always the kitchen. Other than that, I vacuum maybe once every 2-3 weeks and dust pretty much NEVER. You can judge me. It's okay. Who knows, maybe all that will change when baby arrives. Nesting for me has been more like: Packing my hospital bag, organizing baby's clothes, making sure I have all items in case he decides to show up early, decorate his room (my favorite part), and just keep marinating his arrival in prayer.
Featured on the left is the delicious peace parfait I made as a snack this week! We got peaches from the farmers market and I have been on a yogurt kick so I sliced it up, added some granola (This was the KIND Fiber granola), and it was oh so good! Kept me full for a while too...I promise snacks don't have to be complicated.
Had to share this image with you because:
#1: When asking the ladies in my current faith & fitness challenge group what some of their non scale victories where, this was Lauren's reply! Just 1 week into our group and these ladies are making lifestyle changes and surprising themselves! Makes my heart so full as a coach.
#2: I love avocados & hot sauce. This was my lunch yesterday: chicken, peas, avocados, and toast. I could eat this every day!
October's Faith & Fitness challenge group sign ups are now happening! We will be studying my top favorite 15 parables of Jesus while logging in our workouts, nutrition and growing as sisters! Yes I will have had a baby then but I am still running a group! I just can't workout...so you will have to workout for me ;) Let me know if you would like to hear more about it and I would love to get to know you!

Though I am a certified personal trainer through AFAA, I am not a nutritionist. Any food posts on this blog are simply related to my journey!
