Yes, that’s my stomach. I almost never show that much skin on here but today there is a reason. I didn’t get any stretch marks all pregnancy until the last 2 weeks and when I did, I actually celebrated. You see, I knew #gingyptian was out of room at 35 weeks. My little body was struggling to fit him in (remember he came out 8lb 2oz). I remember seeing those stretch marks at 37 weeks and being so proud of my belly for stretching out even more to make room for him. Now at nearly 2 weeks PP, the marks are still there and they still make me smile. Today is the first day I feel ready to workout and I am SO excited to do it (video later)!! I feel 98% back to normal and know what my body can handle. Here is what I am NOT working out for:
When we stop focusing on our imperfections, we find beauty. Thank you Lord for my marks and helping Luca come out of me safely. Thank you that today I have the energy and strength to get a workout in. May it be to honor you and not glorify me. Amen.
