Salads get mad boring.🙄
Am I right? That's why I always have to keep it interesting! Especially right now while pregnant, veggies are not always my friend. BUUUTTT tonight I just happened to be open to a salad but it had to be packed with flavor. So I went the Asian sesame route. Adding some wontons, sliced almonds, and a lite Asian ginger dressing. Here's the recipe for the dressing! (I recommend fresh ginger ALWAYS over the ground stuff)
💕For the dressing:
🔹2 Tbsp rice vinegar
🔹1 Tbsp light soy sauce
🔹1 clove garlic
🔹1 Tbsp honey
🔹1 Tbsp fresh ginger, peeled and minced
🔹¼ tsp. toasted sesame oil
🔹¼ cup olive oil
SO GOOD! I added some stir fried ground chicken for some protein and it was so good! Do you get burnt out on salad?? 😑
I have been so excited for the ladies in my current faith and fitness challenge group! I asked them today what were some things they were proud of themselves for, because you should never wait to be proud of yourself until the END of your journey...be proud of EVERY STEP!
