I am currently going through the 21 Day Fix Extreme by Beachbody. I might as well become a Beachbody coach because I have done so many of their programs like Insanity, T25, PIYO, p90X, Asylum, and now the 21 Day Fix Extreme. I've just finished the PIYO program, which I absolutely loved!! I recommend it to anyone who wants to work on strength, balance, and flexibility. It doesn't include any crazy jumps and no weights are required!
After that program I decided I wanted something more "extreme." You all know I love weight lifting but I decided to tone that back a tad and challenge my body in new ways. So far I am almost 7 days in with this program and YIKES...it's kicking my bum.
I woke up at 4:30AM on my own today...did you just read that?!? 4:30!! I mean, that's my usual on the weekdays but come onnn bodyyyy...it's Saturday! So I decided to spend the morning with God.
After waking up again at 7am I decided to have breakfast and then do the 21 day Fix workout for the day. I had so much energy after that 30 minutes I figured, hec...why not do another one! (Plus Graham was still sleeping...)
I wanted to post some of my favorite meals over this past week. As you can see, egg sandwiches are my favorite! I use Thin Slim Bread, which has quickly become one of my favorites. If you want more information on it check it out here. The left was actually my dinner last night (1 egg, avocado, Thin Slim bread, veggies, and a small baked potato plain)...The right was today's first breakfast! (I generally have 2 "breakfasts"...one at 7am and one at 10am).
Below on the left was my first lunch on Thursday this week.
It included baked Cod, 1 red pepper, and huge scoops of hummus!
To the right is one of my snacks throughout the day.
Greek yogurt and fruit is one of my favorite combinations!
Just a reminder, I am not a nutritionist. This is simply how I generally space out my meals:
7pm-Some sort of protein packed snack
Hope you all have a FABULOUS Saturday!! I challenge you to get up and MOVE your body ;)
Though I am a certified personal trainer through AFAA, I am not a nutritionist. Any food posts on this blog are simply related to my journey!
