The last four days I have been at Beachbody's Coach Summit in Nashville, TN and it was truly a game changer for me as a coach and as a person. I have never been more on fire for the mission and purpose of this business and was SO excited to meet so many women I built relationships with online and could hug them!
I was worried how I would feel at 31 weeks pregnant in the heat of Nashville doing crazy workouts, walking a ton, and soaking up all the incredible knowledge and inspiration.
NOT SO GOOD:
Delicious bunless burger on the left and yummy taco salad with shredded chicken on the right! I definitely don't mind splurging every now and then because #lifestyle #balance #ilovecheese
I got to meet Ted who is one of the 4 instructors of the 3 week yoga retreat and he's been in 22 minute hard corps and all P90X programs! He also just had his first little girl 5 months ago! He was all excited about my bump haha. I love that these trainers are so chill and down to earth!
Well the image above is me today (Monday) and if you follow me on Facebook.com/carenscorner then you saw I have had a physically rough day after Summit! A mixture of back pain, a super sore throat, and sleep deprivation doesn't exactly make the the most exciting Monday BUT...it has left me grateful. Why? Because of what this image shares right here. Today I am able to not feel well but still invest in what sets my soul on fire because I can do it from my home. I can sit on my bed with pillows stacked behind my back, shake in one hand and hot tea in the other, and begin creating material for my August Faith & Fitness Challenge Group: Run With Perseverance. Check out more info under the Beachbody section. You won't want to miss this one!
Needless to say, I have taken 2 rest days in a row now. There is no point in exercising while fatigued and in pain...that's just reckless and dangerous. I know I am not alert enough and I would be sloppy with my form. So I am resting and taking occasional walks to loosen my body up a bit. Happy Monday friends!
Though I am a certified personal trainer through AFAA, I am not a nutritionist. Any food posts on this blog are simply related to my journey!
