I have been so thankful for the last three weeks with this sweet little boy! Despite the exhaustion and sleep deprivation, every moment with him is still a joy. Yesterday we were able to celebrate his birth with a baby shower. It's not super common to have baby showers post baby but I enjoyed having him with us and letting everyone meet him! It's honestly so overwhelming to see how many are pouring into our lives and deeply love him.
I was able to work out after 2 weeks of rest and I am starting with light strength training! I am actually going through the 21 day fix right now with some modifications. I am avoiding cardio because that's a bit much post c-section still but strength training feels good! So I am coupling that with lots of walking :) I am heading into 3 weeks post partum tomorrow and amazed at my body's recovery. Thank you Jesus!
Also, I have never been more thankful that I can drink my superfood shake with one hand. I love snuggling with little man but sometimes I am HANGRY and need to eat. This image is a daily thing. Thankful I can pump in those 77 superfoods and fuel my body properly (which then fuels him properly) every day.
