Man there are days where I feel like my lunches and dinners are exactly the same but the protein is different! I don't know if that is laziness or brilliance. We will say a mix of both ;) The one on the left has left over grille eggplant and grilled chicken with a bunch of veggies, sliced almonds, a little bit of wontons, and light ginger dressing! The one on the right is the exact same but no eggplant and instead stir fried ground turkey.
Let me tell you something...in terms of workouts I am still going strong with my country cardio based program! I did complete day 15 & day 16 but Trail Ride was a bit tricky because there was a lot of twisting and this momma has to watch out for baby. So on those days I kept it SUPER modified and added some weight lifting from the 21 day fix extreme program to add some flavor! I can honestly say what is keeping me going strong at 38 weeks include: having a goal I am aiming toward, which is to stay strong for my labor, delivery, and recovery but also the ladies in my current challenge group! Seriously, when you see 20 women logging in nutrition and workouts every day, you are more motivated to get yours done!
This past weekend Graham and I were able to go apple picking and we got our first ever GRILL!!! Graham has been wanting one for 4 years but everywhere we have lived we couldn't have one. So we are total newbies at grilled! Would love to hear what some of your favorite things to grill are! Also, you know when you go apple picking and get a million apples and then realize you have no idea what to do with all those apples? Yeah...that happened. So I am also asking for apple using recipes!! I am very needy today ;) Help a girl out! Excited to hear your suggestions <3
Though I am a certified personal trainer through AFAA, I am not a nutritionist. Any food posts on this blog are simply related to my journey!
