Have you ever thought about relying on God's strength during a workout? I never thought the two where something that could be linked. Before I gave God the pen to my health chapter, faith and fitness had been very separate in my mind. I did fitness by my own strength, will, effort, and way. After eating disorder battles, battling self-hatred and mind distortions, I finally surrendered. I then learned that I could lean on God's strength in ALL things...including my workout. My workouts became an act of worship. It was an extension of my time with Jesus. When something got hard or there was more time left, instead of looking to find strength in me, I positioned myself toward God and looked to HIM.
By learning to rely on God's strength in something as small as a work out, I know I will learn to rely on Him when it comes to the much bigger things. One brick at a time you will build your foundation so when the storms come, your faith will be unshakeable.
