Sister, I don't know your situation but no matter how physically alone you may be KNOW that your Heavenly Father never leaves. You have to look for Him. Seek Him and you will find Him. He is our comfort and our ever present help in time of need. I have a choice. I can either choose to see God in my day to day activities and recognize His presence or I can say to myself "You're all alone" and mope around in loneliness. I choose the first.
I have been taking this month to really just focus on family and pray over this new season I am in. I am so thankful for my home business but I often have to stop and make sure I don't lose sight of true success, which is grounded in faith in Jesus and making Him known. That has to remain my goal as a wife, mom, and coach. Being known by God and making Him known in all areas of my life. Do you take time to evaluate where you are in the race? Sometimes I just run and run and forget to stop and reflect. Autopilot is a dangerous place. Thankful for rest on many levels today!
I apologize for disappearing for quite some time on here! If you hadn't heard through my Facebook or instagram , I did have my son on 9/26 at 10:41pm! He weighed 8lb and 2oz and was 21 inches long! My labor & delivery story was not what I expected it would be at all. If you are interested in hearing it, I did go on LIVE on Facebook this past week to share exactly what happened. You can search through my videos and find it!
Since becoming a mom I have noticed that the way I see and experience God has already changed. There is a deeper meaning to Him sacrificing His one and only Son that we might have eternal life. I am tasting just a small bit of His deep love with how much I love this little boy He has entrusted Graham and I with. It's honestly really overwhelming.
My devotion time is all over the place. Luca (baby's name) is still trying to figure out days vs. nights which leaves me a bit sleep deprived. But, thanks to a sweet friend of mine I am learning to have the breastfeeding sessions become a time of prayer and devotion and focusing on how I can use the time I DO have.
A Bit About ME!
Hey friend! My name is Caren and I am so glad you stopped by! This blog is a bit of my corner on the internet where I share honest thoughts about my faith journey, fitness journey, doctor wife journey, and motherhood journey. ALL of it! The good bad and ugly! I pray that something I share encourages you today!
