If you've been feeling under pressure from all directions, this is worth listening to. I'd love to hear your takeaways below!
I fell to my knees.
Be faithful in the small and in time, more will come. I don't often share personal messages like this on my blog, but this time I Had to.
I fell to my knees this morning as I saw my paycheck from this week. I had to read it twice to make sure. All I could say over and over was “thank you Jesus, thank you, thank you.” Though money never leads my desire to help others, what the money can do (release us from $400,00 of debt, allow us to do missions without boundaries, allows us to help others, etc.) does stay on my vision board. After 2 years in as a coach, it can be hard to see similar numbers over and over. But I told God " I am IN. No matter the rank or pay check. I am IN." Last week I began to pray and I simply told God "Your way not my way. I will remain consistent, faithful, and obedient. I will be bold, courageous, and fearless. I need you to meet the gaps."
This week He did. It's ALL Him. My work ethic didn't change. It was simply a season where God blessed our efforts. And guess what? God's message to me this morning was kind of interesting. He said "forget what is behind, both the success and the struggle. Forget both. Keep focusing on what is ahead. Show up today like nothing happened." I was confused at first. Why forget the success? Because sometimes when success happens, we boast in it or we start "coasting." It was a warning. And I am listening. So I am giving God GLORY for the success today and then moving forward with Him without looking back again.
Why am I sharing this with you? Because you need to know that being an entrepreneur doesn’t come without sacrifice, hard work, and faithfulness. We sow with tears. We reap with songs of joy (Psalm 126:5). Many think it’s glamorous and easy. Nope. Why do you think so many quit after 3-6 months? It requires a DEEP “why” that leads you to tears to help you show up every day. For me it is a calling. It requires PATIENCE. It requires us to grow and leave our comfort zones. It has pushed me to learn what it means to take baby steps with God and learn this concept of "seasons."
When I share the business opportunity with you, I never sugar coat it. I am not here to deceive anyone. All I know is that this business has allowed me to leave my full time job, stay home with my son, help provide for my family financially ALL while doing something I genuinely wake up EXCITED and on fire to do. It has allowed me to use my gifts. It has become my calling. Now you know the meaning behind “Team Race2Serve” go here if you don’t https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKXKPv7nzuk.

The kickstart to this vacation has been super special for this reason....we had been holding off on dedicating this sweet boy until our whole families could be together again. SO grateful that we could do it! We prayed this little man would come to know and be known by Jesus at a very young age. That we as his parents would be always surrendering him back to the Lord as Hannah did with Samuel. Luca is a gift. A miracle. He is not ours but He IS our responsibility and what a privilege that responsibility is! With responsibility comes pressure. But with pressure can come power! Thank you to the many of you who love on this boy daily. We are so grateful to know we aren't alone in disciplining him. God is so good!
